Account & Data Deletion

At Avelix PDF, we respect your privacy and give you control over your account and personal information.

If you use Avelix PDF with Google Sign-In or another account-based feature, you can request deletion of your Avelix PDF account and the personal data associated with that account.

What to include in your request

Please provide the following information so that we can identify and verify your account:

• The email address associated with your Avelix PDF account
• Your name, if it is associated with the account
• A statement confirming that you want your Avelix PDF account and associated data deleted

You may send the request from the same email address associated with your Avelix PDF account. We may request additional information where reasonably necessary to verify that the request was made by the account owner.

How the deletion process works

What will be deleted?

When we process a verified account deletion request, we will delete the Avelix PDF account and personal data associated with that account that we are required and able to delete.

This may include:

• Your Avelix PDF account
• Your Google Sign-In information stored or associated with your Avelix PDF account
• Your name and email address associated with the account
• Account identifiers associated with your Avelix PDF account
• Other personal information stored specifically for your Avelix PDF account

What happens to files on your device?

Deleting your Avelix PDF account does not automatically delete files stored locally on your Android device.

Your PDF files, documents, images, scans, and exported files stored on your device remain under your control. You can delete these files separately using your device's file manager or Avelix PDF's file management features.

Google Sign-In

Avelix PDF may use Google Sign-In to authenticate users.

Deleting your Avelix PDF account does not delete your Google Account.

Your Google Account is managed separately by Google. If you want to delete your Google Account itself, you must do so through Google's account management tools.

Google Play subscriptions

Deleting your Avelix PDF account does not automatically cancel a Google Play subscription.

If you have an active Avelix PDF Premium subscription, you should cancel the subscription through Google Play.

Data that may need to be retained

In certain circumstances, we may be required or permitted to retain limited information for legitimate purposes, such as:

• Legal or regulatory compliance
• Fraud prevention
• Security
• Resolving disputes
• Accounting or transaction records
• Enforcing our Terms of Service

Where information must be retained for one of these reasons, we will retain only what is reasonably necessary and will delete or anonymize it when the applicable retention requirement no longer applies.

How long does deletion take?

We aim to process verified account deletion requests within a reasonable period.

Some requests may require additional verification before deletion can take place. If we need additional information from you, we will contact you using the information provided in your request.

Once the deletion process has been completed, we will confirm the request where appropriate.

Important

Submitting an account deletion request means that you are asking us to permanently delete your Avelix PDF account and associated personal data that is eligible for deletion.

Account deletion may affect your ability to access account-based features, saved account information, and other services associated with your Avelix PDF account.

Once an account has been deleted, the deletion may not be reversible.
